The University of Ghana maiden edition of the basketball league, started on Wednesday 5th October 2011 at the University of Ghana, Legon. The basketball league, another new innovation from the Sports Directorate is aimed at involving all the Halls on the University of Ghana campus and to encourage students participation in sports.
