UG Soccer League: Player of the Semester

 This year's university of Ghana inter halls soccer league couldn't have asked for anything better than the skills, goals, drama, fun and excitement it was decorated with.

The players on the field of play spiced up the first round of the beautiful game and one man who was outstanding throughout with his consistent excellent play, marked with skills, great vision and high sense of reading and dictating the play of his team is Wilson Awuah.

  Popularly known as K.P, Wilson captained his distance team for the first time in the history of the University of Ghana soccer league to finish the first round in 2^nd place in group A as debutants. He emerged as man of the match on three occasions in the seven times he played.

  The distance team lost their first game of the season to Mensah Sarbah hall but recovered strongly from that and managed to secure four wins and two draws from seven matches.

Wilson Awuah, a very creative midfielder was always the marksman in their fold ensuring his strikers got the appropriate feeding of the ball and also managed to hit the back of the net three times.

  His outstanding performance in the first round of league earned him the PLAYER OF THE SEMESTER…
