The Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA)
finalized their preparation today at the University of Ghana Stadium ahead of
the World University Games scheduled to take place in Kazan, Russia from July
6-17, 2013.
The team has been in residential camping for over a
month now at the University of Ghana campus where they have been sharpening
their rough edges.
Captain of the side Eric Golo assured Ghanaians that
his side would put in their maximum efforts to honour the nation.
The 28 member contingent made up of 18 athletes and ten
officials will depart for Russia tomorrow ahead of the opening ceremony slated
for saturday.
