AMANKONA FREDERICK SOARING IN OHIO


The most valuable player of the 2012/2013 University of Ghana inter-hall soccer league Amankona Frederick popularly known as Amass on the UG campus, won his first medal in the United States of America after making his presence known on the football pitch amongst the Ghanaian community in Ohio.
Amass, who scored 25 goals in 22 matches to emerge as the top goal scorer of the UG league, also made a mark at the Mini Ghana Universities Sports Association Games held in Tamale by scoring 6 goals in 5 games to win the best player award.

The young striker is now on a scholarship at the University of Dayton, Ohio, USA. He proved his worth in the Ohio Ghanaian community games to lift the MVP player award, the first of many more to come for the young talented striker.
