JUBILEE/ISH DOES IT IN BASKETBALL

At first, it looked like the new Hall was going to have problems integrating the Inter-halls due to the fact that they are new and that the traditional Halls are more organized. But JUBILEE/ISH (JISH) has become a force to reckon with in the women's category. Not satisfied with the astonishing results produced in football, placing first and having the goal queen coming from their team, they want to extend their wings to basketball also. The JISH women basketball team have so far displayed team unity, understanding and maturity in their first participation. Most of the traditional halls have so far bowed down to the passing skills, strong defense and shooting abilities of the likes of Jemila, Ngozi, Alex and their experienced handler Sarah. JISH has so far sent the farmers (Akuafo Hall) back to their farms and proved to the Volta ladies (Volta Hall) that they have more vision in Basket ball which they also play with more style. Their last match  against Sarbah, in which they were leading 12-8 was interrupted by rain on Monday 24th October 2011. With the last quarter left to be played on Wednesday 26th October 2011, the JISH team are not far away from making history in UG Sports as Queens of Legon on their first participation in Basketball.
