A Day UG Does Not Want To Remember

07-01-2012 is the day Team Legon does not want to remember in their participation in the 2012 GUSA games. The outcome of the day's events took the smiles of the players faces and shut up our ever present supporters.
The morning started with the volley ball ladies playing against the University of Cape Coast ( UCC ). The University of Ghana team (UG) went on to loose a match which they had started well and were leading by two sets. The score at full time was UG 2 vs 3 UCC.
The volley ball men went into their game with high hopes but their performance was abysmal, and the results, unsurprising.  The score at full time was UG 0  vs 3 UCC.

The soccer ladies took on their UCC opponents at Paa Joe stadium. The team could not create enough chances to have the upper hand in the game. Outplayed in every angle, and in every area of  the field, UG succumbed to a UG 1  vs 2 UCC defeat.

The basketball ladies played against UCC in the afternoon. UCC had some very tall and strong ladies who bullied ours in the department of strenght. UG however matched them on every space on the court and dominated in skill with Gifty Dedo impressing friends and foes alike.
The score at full time was UG  23  vs 33 UCC
