The Sports men and women of the University of Ghana started their preparations towards the upcoming GUSA(Ghana Universities Sports Association) events on Monday 19th December 2011. The University of Ghana will be represented in all of the nine GUSA disciplines (Soccer, Athletics, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Tennis, Badminton and Hockey).
The event is scheduled for the 3rd-13th January 2012 at Paa Joe Stadium, KNUST, Kumasi. The participating schools are UMaT(University o Mines and Technology, Tarkwa), UG(University of Ghana, Legon), KNUST(Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi), UEW(University of Education Winneba), UDS(University of Development Studies, Tamale),IPS(Institue of Professional Studies, Accra) and UCC(University of Cape Coast).
