SOCCER LEAGUE: SUMMARY AND GOAL KING RACE

The University of Ghana Soccer league is almost getting to the end with 133 goals scored and some major upsets. GRASAG has been able to make it to the top 5 teams on campus with only 2 points behind Mensah Sarbah whom they graciously scored 2-1 during their encounter on February 16, 2013. Just a year ago GRASAG was not a team to reckon with but since their Technical Manager Essien Iboro took over affairs it has been one good turn for the graduates. Their soccer is so fluent and well managed. Their organisation is just one of the best ahead of ISH(International Students Hostel) whom was expected to be the surprise team for the semester after a good run last academic year. Mensah Sarbah Hall is loosing focus as they reported late to their match against Elisabeth Sey (SEY on 3-0 by walkover).
Legon Hall leads the table with 57 points followed closely by the our own in house Red Devils Commonwealth which just a 3 point gap. Commownwealth maestro Frederick Amankonah aka Amass after 9 match days leads the goal king race with 23 goals. Emmanuel Nyarko's hart trick which sent Mensah Sarbah back home without a single point makes him the second best goal scorer of the league.
