UG/Cowbell Annual Cross Country Event

   The University of Ghana Sports Directorate is proud to present its annual Cowbell Inter-Hall Cross Country competition. The event, slated for Saturday 29th September 2012 will start from 6:00 AM. All the halls across campus from Elizabeth Sey Frances to Tf hostels will take part in this annual event in both male and female category.

   During the last year event, the ladies with vision and style showed much strength as they came first in the ladies category. Mensah Sarbah Hall also finished on top due to their teamwork thus beating Commonwealth Hall who then had in their midst the then MILO Marathon Champion Akuka Williams and Godwin Oduro.
This year's event will be keenly contested between Mensah Sarbah and Commonwealth halls in the male category as the big names are in contention for the ultimate prize.

This event will also serve as a platform for Coach Timothy Kwabena Mensah and the Sports Directorate to select its best runners to defend the university during the GUSA Cross Country event to be held at the University of Ghana, Legon in November 2012.
