BILD and IDEALS goes to Eastern Region!!!

The local tutors together with the IDEALS students departed Accra on Monday 11th June 2012 for Koforidua. The PE department at OMESS (Oyoko MEthodist Secondary School) helped the team settle down at their guest house and set up for the training. Mr Opoku together with the Head of the PE Department worked closely with the BILD/IDEALS Team so as to ensure that the training went without any hitch.
Young Leaders Training started on Tuesday 12th June 2012 and the school presented 27 students for the training. Throughout the week, the Local Tutors and the IDEALS students tutored the students on the values BILD wants to instill.
The training ended on Friday 15th June 2012 with a BILD festival for 76 children from the New Life Preparatory School, Oyoko. During the festival the Headmaster of OMESS expressed profound happiness in the organization of the festival and hoped the Young Leaders will be able to reiterate the same success in academics also.
By the end of the 3-day training, the Young Leaders now had a different and more confident point of view on matters such as cross cultural diversity, organization, communication and teamwork.
The local tutors were pleased with the way the festival was planned and the IDEALS students enjoyed co-tutoring and took active part in the training. Team BILD left Oyoko on Saturday after it was joined on Friday evening by Trainers and IDEALS students who did the similar training in Akwatia.
