Viviana Dansowaa Sets New Record!!!

Viviana E. Dansowaa, one of the star athletes from Legon Hall proved her supremacy in the 400 m event. Just after returning from FISU (International Federation of University Sport) Games in Shenzhen China in August, she has once again proved why she was selected to represent GHANA at the international level.
She broke her record of 59.07 seconds in the 400 m and now holds a new one of 58.40 seconds. This is the second time she has broken a record in less than two years and it looks like this is just the beginning. Determination and ambition seem to be the driving force of Viviana as she continues her gazelle runs. She has also beaten her time of 59.84 which she made in Shenzhen. Apart from running the tracks, she is also involved in football, volleyball and basketball among other games.

During the heat, she raced with agility and showed less effort in her final curve. This shows that she has been training intensively and will not stop at only UG Athletics Games but will go as far as she can in fulfilling her dream of success on the international scene just like Vida Anim and other female ghanaian athletes.
